Getting Started
This guide takes you from install to a running program in a few minutes. Every command and example here was checked against the shipped RUDRA 1.1.0 toolchain.
1. Install the toolchain
Download the Linux x86_64 archive from Downloads, verify its checksum, then install it:
tar -xzf rudra-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
cd rudra-linux-x86_64 && ./install.sh
rudra version You should see RUDRA 1.1.0.
2. Your first program
Create a file named hello.rux:
fn main() {
print("Hello, RUDRA!");
} 3. Compile and run
Use the compiler directly:
rudrac hello.rux --run Or create a project with the driver:
rudra new myapp
cd myapp
rudra run A new project contains a Rux.toml and a src/main.rux entry point.
