Installation

The RUDRA toolchain ships as downloadable release assets. The current 1.1.0 build targets Linux x86_64; macOS and Windows installers are available from the 1.0.1 release.

Linux (x86_64)

tar -xzf rudra-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
cd rudra-linux-x86_64 && ./install.sh
rudra version

The installer copies rudra, rudrac, ruxpkg and rudra-lsp into ~/.local/bin by default. Ensure that directory is on your PATH.

macOS (Apple Silicon)

sudo installer -pkg rudra-macos-arm64.pkg -target /
rudra version

Windows (x86_64)

Run the .exe installer, then open a new terminal and run rudra version.

Verify your download

Always confirm the SHA256 checksum shown on the Downloads page before installing:

sha256sum rudra-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
