Verification matrix and evidence
The statuses below come from independent testing of the shipped toolchain. No capability is listed as working unless it was compiled and run. No benchmarks, download counts or community statistics are published anywhere on this site.
What was tested
Archive rudra-linux-x86_64.tar.gz (RUDRA 1.1.0),
SHA256 3da546bae30161456698504bc779470881c4f8219d8154766391dcc9ce9fcd2f,
verified on 2026-11-02. The checksum was confirmed before
extraction. Tests ran on Linux x86_64.

Evidence
Compile and run a program
VERIFIEDrudrac hello.rux --run produced the program output with exit code 0.
OS threads
VERIFIEDA spawn(worker, 42) program compiled and ran; an OS-level trace showed a real clone call with the CLONE_THREAD flag.
Mutex
PARTIALLY VERIFIEDmutex_new, lock, unlock compiled and ran with exit code 0. Cross-thread contention correctness was not independently proven in this verification.
Channels
PARTIALLY VERIFIEDA chan_new / chan_send / chan_recv program sent and received the value 7 with exit code 0. Note: functions named send and recv do not exist in the shipped binary.
HTTP client (http_get)
PARTIALLY VERIFIEDhttp_get compiled and, under an OS-level trace, opened a TCP socket and issued a connect. A hostname URL resolved to 0.0.0.0 (no DNS). A numeric-IP URL issued a real connect to that address.
JSON reading
PARTIALLY VERIFIEDjson_get on a JSON object literal returned the expected value 42 with exit code 0. json_len and json_at exist but their argument shapes differed from the distribution notes; a fully working array read was not confirmed in this verification.
Hostname resolution (DNS)
NOT VERIFIEDA hostname URL passed to http_get resolved to 0.0.0.0, indicating no DNS resolution in the shipped binary.
HTTPS / TLS
PLANNEDDocumented as roadmap; no TLS behavior was exercised in this verification.
Known discrepancies and limitations
- The distributed binaries are dynamically linked. Distribution text describing the toolchain as having zero external dependencies or requiring no linker is not supported by the shipped binaries and is corrected here.
- The documented channel functions
sendandrecvdo not exist in the shipped binary. The working functions arechan_sendandchan_recv. - A function named
json_parsedoes not exist in the shipped binary. JSON object reading works viajson_get. http_getopens a real TCP connection but does not resolve hostnames (no DNS) and does not implement HTTPS or TLS.- Mutex ran in a single-threaded program; cross-thread contention correctness was not independently proven.
- No guarantee is made that the software is free of defects or vulnerabilities.
Status definitions
- VERIFIED - compiled and run with the expected result.
- PARTIALLY VERIFIED - present and runs, but a part of the claim was not fully exercised.
- PLANNED - documented as roadmap, not shipped.
- NOT VERIFIED - could not be confirmed, or observed not to work as documented.
